12 Days Of Crafting Advent Calendar: Team Cards
Spoiler Alert – Don’t read on if you have the calendar, haven’t opened doors yet and would like a surprise.
Our Stampin’ Up 12 Days Of Crafting Advent Calendar is sold out but I thought I’d share what some craft friends and I are doing each week with our calendars. My friend Kathryn from SA organised a group of us and each Friday evening we jump onto a quick facebook messenger video call and have a hello and catch up on news of the week. Then we all open that week’s door to see what papercraft product is inside. We aim to complete a project using the items we’ve opened so far before the next Friday call. I’ve been a bit slack on that part of the homework but when I was making some little gift cards for a team afternoon tea I thought – perfect chance to catch up.
I used the gorgeous 6″ DSP that was in door 2. I’ve also used the stamp set and the little gold embellishments that were in door 3. I found some little envelopes in my cluttered cupboard so sized the cards to match.
Papercraft Tip:
Stamp your greeting first and then flip your punch and check how it is centred.
For this card I’ve used the 1 3/4″ circle punch.
We hadn’t had a team catch up in ages so I had a little gift for each attendee – some patterned paper from our November Online Exclusives. I used the Branching Out Dies to make the topper and decorative addition.
Keep an eye out if Stampin’ Up have a 12 Days Of Crafting Advent calendar next year. It has been lots of fun so far and I’ve got a few more doors still to open.
