A Pokemon Birthday

My young Mr 10 had his birthday recently and since he is a massive Pokemon fan I thought we’d go with that for the card and cake. 

Here is the card I whipped up late one night.  It is a concertina style fold out card featuring Stampin’ Up!® Serene Scenery patterned paper stack, and some Pokemon creatures wishing Jack a happy birthday.  I’ve used a range of birthday greetings and the retired word bubble thinlits.  Some enamel shapes as finishing touches.  (They’re so handy to have on hand.) 

And a Pokeball cake to help keep to the theme.  John and Hannah made the cake and I was in charge of the decorating.  The birthday boy loved it. 

Wishing you a happy weekend.  My crazy husband is off cycling 250km tomorrow for the Around The Bay ride.  I think my day is going to be slightly less energetic!!  I’d be tired DRIVING for that long, let alone riding a bike.  We’re all very proud of him.
