Christmas Cards With Sparkle

Don’t you just LOVE glimmer paper?  Our Stampin’ Up glimmer paper is such lovely quality – nice fine glitter for maximum sparkle.  This is my favourite of our current colours – Dazzling Diamonds.  We used some for the background panels of one of our November Christmas Card Class cards. 

How To Make It: For this card I’ve stamped the Merry (from Seasonally Scattered stamp set) in Versamark then stamped it onto Whisper White cardstock.  White (or clear would work too) embossing powder then a heat gun to set it.  Next I sponged Real Red ink over the top.  Just keep sponging until you’re happy with the depth of colour.  Wipe the excess ink off the stamped image.  I’ve cut it out using my Big Shot and Apothecary Accents framelit.

Happy December!  Didn’t the 1st Dec roll around quickly.  I’m still feeling a tad Novemberish.  😉
