Crayon Resist Flower Card: Lots Of Colour Variations

I have some crayon resist cards to show you today using the Summer Mini stamp set – Fabulous Florets.

This one was for one of Jack’s classmates so we added a K for her name and of course some lovely pearls.

I do like the little bit of Top Note at the side, embossed with the Finial Press embossing folder.  The letter is from the Timeless Type alphabet sizzlits – such a handy size for card making and for scrapbooking.

Here’s a few more colour variations of our card from technique class this month.   I liked this autumn toned one. Our white crayons got a good workout. This technique works well on glossy cardstock – or photo paper is another good option. Stamp the outline images in stazon or emboss them with black embossing powder. Add some highlights with crayon and sponge some ink in your favourite colour combo. Give it a polish and the crayon highlights will shine.
