Easter Creations

The school holidays are here and we are getting quite excited about Easter Bunny in our household.  (Mind you he could really skip visiting here – I’ll show you why at the end of this post!) Perhaps you’d like to make some Easter cards or tags, but don’t have any Easter stamps or stickers or other Easterish embellishments.  Here are some ideas that might come in handy. I have the sum total of one Easter stamp, which I used recently to make this card for a MojoMonday Challenge.

But what can you do if your stash of supplies doesn’t contain any Easter bits and pieces??

Solution!

I decided to grab my handy oval cutting tools and make some Easter Egg shaped tags. 

The first one here was inspired by this gorgeous spunky rabbit I couldn’t resist buying last week.  (At Red Door in Keilor Village – they have the loveliest little things there.)

Don’t have any rabbits or Easter Eggs?  Perhaps you have some birds.   Bird, eggs, that works!

I’ve used the Patterned Paper ‘Good Morning Sunshine’ with matching Pacific Point cardstock to make this cute little box. 

It is known as an explosion box.  Lift the lid and voila …

Now what set me off on this burst of chocolate inspired creativity?? Hannah won first prize in the Easter Raffle at her school so look what came home with us this week ….

Two very happy children in this house!  Easter Bunny – maybe just a teeny weeny egg if you’re stopping by here this Easter. For all those having some holidays this Easter, enjoy the break.
