Elegant Purple Card For A Friend

I’ve been having a play with some new goodies from the upcoming new 2011/12 Stampin’ Up catalogue.   Here’s the first card I made using the set My Friend.  What an appropriate name for a card for a lovely friend.

The base is Concord Crush (always a tricky colour to photograph.)  I’ve also used Pink Pirouette (textured) and Very Vanilla.  The silhouette flowers are stamped in Concord Crush ink.  I’ve coloured the greeting using my markers – the colours from the card plus Pear Pizzazz.   Punches: Modern Label and Decorative Label – a nice combination. I’ve added a spritz of sparkle to the pink layer and finished it off with some of the tiny pearls.
