Favored Flowers DSP – Simple Cards

I’ve been enjoying creating with the Favored Flowers DSP (from our Saleabration range) this week.  It is such elegant paper and I love the colours.  Has some sheets perfect for fussing cutting (I’ll have some examples in my next post.)  For these cards I kept it super simple for those who have just paper, cardstock, ink and a greeting stamp.  I cut the paper to the same size as my base card front.  (14.8 x 10.5cm)  Then stamped the thanks (from Kind and Sincere stamp set at the bottom of a piece of 10.5cm wide cardstock in a coordinating shade.  Trim just above the top of the greeting to make your greeting panel.  You could substitute any largish greeting from your stamp collection.  I had some of the Dragonfly Trinkets on my desk so added those as a finishing touch.  (I used a couple of glue dots.  Roll slightly so they fit the wings well.)  

I’ll be back soon with some stepped up cards using this same paper for those with a few more bits and bobs in their craft stash.
