Festive Chocolate Holder

Here is the chocolate bar holder that I’ve shown you before, this time dressed up in its festive best, courtesy of Dashing Designer Series Paper.

I’ve used Naturals Ivory cardstock for the holder and decorated with the Dashing patterned paper and matching cardstock scraps.  I popped a jumbo pewter eyelet on too, and finished it with a Very Vanilla wide grosgrain ribbon bow.

Pull on the bow and voila …

Family Snippets

Now the other bit of creating I’ve been doing this week has been Project Letterland Dress Up Day.  That’s right – it is school dress up time.  Now I had the entire holidays to come up with something, but guess when I got started.  Yep, those who know me well might have guessed – yesterday!   Hit Riot Art and Craft after school and picked up a bag of purple bits and pieces that I was hoping would miraculously come together to make a ‘Vicky Violet’ costume.  Sat up til 12.30 sewing flowers on (and watching the cycling) and had to get a bit of engineering help from John but this is what we ended up with.  Not a bad effort for a night before job I think if I do say so myself!

Now I’d best go and attempt to restore some order to this house!  Looks like tornado of purple felt, toys, dishes and other assorted bits has been through.  Have a great weekend!
