Happy Moments Watercolouring

I have spent some happy moments doing some watercolouring this week, and the Happy Moments SaleABration stamp set has some lovely images suited to this technique.  I’ve been colouring the stack of presents using different combinations of colours.  This was my favourite!

I did some others with more layers and what not but I like the simplicity and bright colours of this one.   The base card is Lovely Lilac – a gorgeous lilac colour from the Bold Brights colour family.  I’ve used my Bold Brights Stampin’ Write markers and an aquapainter to do the watercolouring.  (Pink Passion, Yo Yo Yellow, and Lovely Lilac.) 

I embossed a bunch of Happy Moments presents and tried out a few other colour combos and watercolouring mediums.

BTW:  The insurance assessor decided our car was a write off so we’re off car shopping this weekend!   Whatever your weekend plans may be, I hope you have a good one.  And fingers crossed we can all squeeze in a bit of craft time too.  (And fingers crossed we find a car or John is going to get VERY FIT cycling to work every day!)
