Heart Of Christmas: Week 10 Festive Friends
Are you in the mood for some Christmas card ideas using some Stampin’ Up supplies?

If you’re making some Christmas cards at home this is a great way to get some fresh ideas.
For these cards I’ve used the cute Festive Friends stamps and dies with an elf, santa and snowman. Aren’t they cute. I’ve combined them with the festive Christmas Tags and More Mix and Match Specialty DSP and coloured them with some of my Stampin’ Blends – Real Red and a retired green. (I need to update my Blends stash one of these days.)
The Festive Friends dies include these trees and a large tag plus the dies to cut out the figures. (You could fussy cut Santa, Elf and Snowman with scissors if you didn’t have the dies.) There are 3 greetings in this stamp set and they work well to snip into individual words or strips attached with glue dots. An adhesive gem button for our elf adds a nice finishing touch.
This Christmas Tags and More paper is 6″ square and comes with some pages you can cut into panels and use in a range of ways. I loved that panel from the patterned paper pack that looked like part of a wreath. I added a very narrow matting of real red to highlight the berries. It also comes with two pages of precut images for quick accents. I used the little tartan banner. Some handy ones on these pages for tags too.
This Santa card is a little notecard sized 7cm x 10.5cm.

These are a bit cute Sue! Love the brightly coloured elf, Santa and snowman! Your word strip sentiments add a fun touch and I a, also loving that Christmas Tags and More pack for quick coordination!
