Ornate Garden Suite
Stampin’ Up have released one of their product suites from the upcoming new annual catalogue early. It is called the Ornate Garden Suite. The greetings feature ‘thanks, thank you and so grateful’ and it seems these sentiments are even more meaningful today aren’t they. Finding things that we are grateful for while we’re in the middle of challenging circumstances, and thanking those around us helps the mindset doesn’t it.

I’ve been spending quite a bit of time in our study/craft room but so far no creating – I’m still tidying up and getting it all a bit more functional. Have you been making anything during this time? I’d love to see a pic so text me through some of your lovely creations.
It is a funny battle at the moment with me between the positive effects of doing more exercise than I usually do and the proximity of all the snacks!

Are you finding a way to keep active? One of my teacher friends has organised a few of us to link up our apple watches and have a competition to close our exercise rings each day. John, Jack and I try to head out for a walk in our local area each afternoon while we’re able to – we have a lovely trail down near the river with hardly any people.
Yesterday I tried online zumba with Nina who ran some zumba sessions last year for the kids at the school I work at. It was so much fun. Definitely going to try it again but I think I need a day or two recovery. Now to just keep away from the pantry a little!
I hope you’re finding ways to keep the sanity while many of our usual activities are on hold.
Take care and stay well,
Love Sue

March 31: How are you going? I seem to be alternating between being quite productive and channelling some energies into things on my ‘to do’ list one day and then the next day being quite flat and lacking in energy. Trying to go with the flow a bit.
Missing seeing my siblings and parents. We are trying for a Madex clan family skype call this afternoon now that we’ve all gotten the app downloaded and set up our profiles. Hannah has volunteered to be our tech teenager expert to be on call for trouble shooting while we figure it out! Have you tried any of the technology options for connecting from afar? Facetime, Skype, Zoom all getting a good workout I’m sure once we all figure out how to use them. Just helps to see the faces doesn’t it.
