Sketch Challenge: Pressed Flowers

I decided to hunt through the shelves and find a stamp set I hadn’t inked up yet and picked Pressed Flowers. Isn’t it lovely? I’ve used my Stampin’ Write markers to ink up the various flowers and leaves – Poppy Parade, Calypso Coral, Crumb Cake, Pear Pizzazz and Old Olive were the markers for this project. Stampin’ Write markers are terrific if you’re wanting a multicoloured image. Just use the brush end and colour directly onto the rubber. Copper foil added a touch of shine for the trim on this panel.
For the greeting strip I stamped off the netting stamp (Crumb Cake ink) once so the greeting would show better. The greeting is from First Frost stamp set.
Whisper White thick cardstock makes a fabulous base for white cards. I’m just about out of it so will be stocking up during our Papers and Embellishments sale tomorrow. Great time to go and do a cardstock stocktake. Missing any favourite colours?
